The Library provides a number of services and facilities for members who speak languages other than English or who want to improve English language skills.

Books in Your Language
If we don't have books in your language available in the Library, you can order a box of books in your language and we'll get them for you from the State Library of NSW.
Books are available for kids, teens, and adults in 43 different languages.
Indyreads
Indyreads is an eBook and eAudiobook streaming platform available online for Library members.
Indyreads provides access to high quality fiction and non-fiction in a variety of different languages, as well as resources for improving English language skills.
Hoopla
Hoopla provides online streaming of music, TV and movies, documentaries, and much more in a large variety of languages.
Hoopla also provides access to a large range of English language learning materials in both eBook and eAudiobook formats.
Early Literacy Song Book
Our early literacy song book is an excellent tool for exploring language and literacy for 0-5 year olds through song and movement.
Available in 6 different languages, the Song Book helps develop the pre-literacy skills critial for learning to read and write.
Library Outreach
We would love to visit your group or organisation at your location or welcome you to the Library for a specialised tour.
Library staff can provide tailored programs and activities, research skills workshops, library tours, and story time sessions for kids.
Goulburn Multicultural Centre
Goulburn Multicultural Centre supports migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers to access resources and feel connected to the Goulburn Community.
Services include English conversation classes, youth services, employment services, and events and activities.
Tech Savvy Seniors
Telstra's Tech Savvy Seniors program helps you build the skills and confidence to use computers, tablets and smartphones. It includes free online training videos and guides in English and 14 other languages.
State Library of NSW
The State Library of NSW provides a range of multilingual information and sources, including books, magazines, newspapers, and community information. Many of the resources are available online with your Goulburn Library card.
